Hunter Receives ASQ Award

Stevan Hunter recently received the Member Leader Excellence Award from the American Society for Quality (ASQ).

Hunter is employed as a Senior Principal Reliability Engineer at ON Semiconductor in Pocatello, and serves as an Adjunct Professor for both the Electrical Engineering Department at Idaho State University in Pocatello and the Computer Science and Electrical Engineering Department at Brigham Young University-Idaho in Rexburg.  Additionally, he is Immediate Past President of the Idaho Academy of Science and Engineering, ASQ Intermountain Section representative to the Eastern Idaho Engineering Council, and has served as an expert judge at the BYU-I Research and Creative Works Conference in recent years.

As cited on the award certificate, “Stevan’s investment in students at all educational levels across Idaho is exceptional and brings credit to himself, the Intermountain Section and to ASQ.”
